Pelin Keskin and Onur Tok
The 350 nautical mile La Trinité–Cowes race, which will start from La Trinité-sur-Mer harbor in France and finish at Cowes harbor in England,
started on July 6, 2025.

This race, which serves as an important preparation stage for the Rolex Fastnet Race, tests both physical endurance and strategic intelligence to the limit.
As 2025 is a Fastnet year, this race features a specially planned route for crews wishing to participate in the renowned Cowes-Dinard-SNBSM race.
This year it will return to Cowes, hosting its indispensable finish in the Solent.

Having featured in the RORC championship calendar for five years, the race is also recognized as a critical stage for the French National IRC team races, as well as IRC Double and Solo categories.
Furthermore, this major IRC race is also open to Multi 2000, IMOCA, Class 40, and Sun Fast 30 OD classes.
This year, a total of 60 boats registered, once again demonstrating the race's international prestige.
Team Linea Rossa, representing Turkey in the race, views this important stage as preparation for the Rolex Fastnet Race.
Pelin Keskin and Onur Tok, who will race Double Handed in the Sun Fast 30 OD class, will proudly represent our country on this challenging course that tests both teamwork and individual resilience.

The race will start from Quiberon Bay.
The boats will sail around the Quiberon Peninsula and proceed along the Brittany coast,
They will pass through challenging tidal areas such as Pointe de Penmarc'h and Raz de Sein,
Then comes the decision phase: through Chenal du Four or off Ushant?
In the final stage, passing either north or south of the Casquets traffic separation scheme, arrival at Cowes will be made through the western entrance of the Solent.
"Every Mile a Decision, Every Decision a Risk"

PELİN KESKİN
" This course is a test where everything comes together. Physical endurance, harmony with the sea, strategic decision-making ability... All are needed simultaneously. Even the slightest decision can make a difference of hours."

ONUR TOK
" Double handed races are the purest and most genuine form of teamwork. We trust each other both as sailors and as yachtsmen. We will set sail with this trust."
The La Trinité–Cowes Race is not just a distance race; it is considered one of the highest level challenges in sailing, combining balance, strategy, seamanship and strength of spirit
as its core elements.

The team's sponsors Linea Rossa and DYO Marine Coatings are supporting Pelin and Onur on this challenging voyage, empowering Turkish sailing.
