MARMARIS REGION AWAITS YOU
Calm, Clean, Peaceful
A DREAM CAME TRUE; WE'VE REUNITED WITH OUR BOATS
After pandemic restrictions, stagnant days, and waiting periods, amateur sailors have one by one reunited with their boats.
The preparations that started late, and the reunion with the sea.
This ritual that happens every year took place this year, albeit with a slight delay.
The number of boats waiting for their owners is quite high in the marinas.

Those who took to the seas chose nearby bays, safe areas, and locations where their friends are moored.
In this sense, Göcek Bay was the first to fill up.
GÖCEK COVES HAVE BECOME ONE HUGE MARINA
Currently, boats wintering in the coves are moored almost side by side.
The captains I spoke with say "Stay Away from Göcek!"
Those who find an anchor spot are happy, and won't cast off their mooring lines without securing another location.
Right next to the airport, with excellent provisioning facilities, dozens of sheltered coves. What more could you want?
Those not mooring at a marina entrust their boat to a captain and winter in a cove.
They come on weekends and then leave.

A friend I spoke with says, "I found a spot over by the Yassıcas, it's very good. I won't risk moving from my spot."
There's too much movement; it's surrendered to congestion rather than tranquility.
When the invisible particles from running generators gradually spread across the sea surface over time, here comes Sea Lice.

RESTRICTIONS IN GÖKOVA GULF COVES
Gökova Gulf is somewhat similar. Already in front of Değirmen Bükü, the navy is warning vessels attempting to enter that it's prohibited.
Gökova Gulf's most sheltered coves where provisions can be obtained are almost non-existent now.
And those that remain have the usual congestion.

HISARÖNÜ GULF KURUCABÜK - FLEET COMMAND?
Hisarönü Gulf is the same as the others.
Yesterday I called 6 captain friends. Coincidentally, all of them said they were in Kurucabük.
Dirsek Bükü has become elbow to elbow.
All coves have the same congestion.

WHEN GREEK BORDERS CLOSED
One of the reasons for this congestion is Greece closing its borders.
Those who spend every summer heavily in Greek waters wait for news, for the restriction to be lifted.
With this congestion, one inevitably wonders: "Where should we go?"

While thinking about this, the Marmaris Region coves where we spend our days actually seem to be the most suitable option these days.
MARMARIS COVES ARE COMPLETELY EMPTY RIGHT NOW
In Marmaris, which has beautiful coves one after another, the daily tour boat traffic used to make life difficult for us.
Those who came to visit Marmaris by land used to enjoy the sea pleasure in beautiful coves with daily boats.
For now, commercial boat traffic in these coves is almost non-existent.
Only on Sundays do Marmaris residents fill the coves.
Other than that, the coves currently belong to amateurs.

Crystal clear sea, many alternative coves, all kinds of provisioning facilities, the region's technical equipment adequacy make the Marmaris Region very attractive these days, in my opinion.
Many boats have chosen this region, but the region is so vast that the density is not noticeable.
The congestion in front of Marmaris, İçmeler and Turunç also shows this for boats wanting to provision.
Dear captains, when marine tourism picks up, you won't find these coves like this - consider this a warning from us.
Of course, if you come here, we might take advantage of the gap you leave and move to those areas ourselves.
We're only advising, don't say "We were deceived!" later.
It's very trendy too.
Stay with love.
