29 Yachts Compete in Çeşme Channel Race

On Sunday, November 13, 2016, the 3rd leg of the İzmir Winter Trophy Yacht Races, organized by EAYK, ICYC, and ÇEŞ​ME MARINA, was held.

We followed the race for you, which covered a bird's eye distance of 25 nautical miles with 29 yachts participating. The race took place during hours when the relentless wind that had been blowing for days in the Çeşme Channel took a break or shifted to another direction.

The race started off Çeşme, carefully navigating the famous shallow waters, rounded Eşek Island off Ildır Bay, and finished once again off Çeşme. You can find race activities, technical details, and various visuals in the December issue of YELKEN DÜNYASI.
