We covered the 6th and Final Leg of the İzmir Winter Trophy, which took place on December 19-20. A total of 24 boats in 4 groups gathered on the Çeşme course for the final leg of the trophy before closing out 2015. The trophy, organized jointly by İzmir Clubs, Çeşme and Teos Marina, was raced on the Çeşme course for its 6th Leg. The boats competed on a course where the wind blew generously and the waves were quite high. On both days, the wind ranged between 12-22 knots. The waves that rose especially on the first day made the competition considerably challenging.
