It is a small cove located in the southeastern part of Maden Island. It is calm.
The bottom structure of the cove is vermicelli and very little sand.
Anchoring is done between 3-4 meters and the anchor holds poorly.
In the beach area on the north of the cove, depths decrease to 2 meters and the bottom is sand.
In north and west winds, the harbor becomes a cove, and in harsh weather, squalls descend and can create danger due to the limited maneuvering area.
Maden Island takes its name from being an island where iron ore was extracted in the past.
