It is located behind the island at the northeast corner of the bay between Uluburun and Çoban Burnu.
The east side of the island is shallow. The west side provides a narrow but deep passage up to 20 meters.
The bottom structure is sand and holds anchor well. The depth decreases towards the beach in the middle.
In the sheltered and calm bay, you can moor stern-to either at anchor or by taking a line from the slope on the port side of the entrance.
A small stream flows into the sea on the west side of the beach.
There is a facility on the east side. A poor road connects the bay to Kaş.
Beautiful views can be obtained from the hills reached by a small trail.
It is a popular stop for daily tour boats.
