It is a wide bay shaped like a crescent with its opening to the east, located south of Asarcık Cape. It is surrounded by high mountains. The mountains are covered with trees, especially the southern shore is covered with pine forests.

The wide bay has different anchorage positions for all winds except easterly winds. Along the shores of the bay, the depth generally drops to 10 meters. The bottom becomes sandy. In the first 2 meters of water on the 1.5-kilometer-long beautiful beach, there is a flat bank.

In the south of the bay, there are two very nice anchorage spots. At these positions, anchor is dropped at 10 meters and stern lines are taken to the shore covered with pine trees. The bottom structure here is also very good. However, it is not advisable to shelter here during northerly weather.

All shores of the bay can be approached either at anchor or stern-to. However, the most sheltered position from westerly and northerly weather is the northwest position. Here, beneath the steep rocky hill to the north, anchor can be dropped at 5-6 meters on sandy bottom and one can stay at anchor. From here, the Amos ruins on top of the hills can also be reached by a short path.

In this bay, there are many piers and facilities in the back with all amenities. However, in this bay where daily tour boats arrive intensively, there are also different piers. They are different, various and beautiful facilities. Among them, there are luxurious ones that host heads of state, as well as more ordinary, more natural ones.

There is also a water sports center in the bay.

Kumlubük is on the coast of the Marmaris-Rhodes sea route. Especially in the morning and evening, very fast-passing ships raise waves. For this reason, it is advisable for boats moored stern-to at the piers to keep as much distance as possible from the pier.

Kumlubük is 4 kilometers from Turunç, 14 from İçmeler, and 26 from Marmaris by road.

In Kumlubük, in the shadow of high mountains where green and blue intertwine, you experience a calmer atmosphere outside the hours of 11:00-16:00 when tour boats arrive...
