It is 1.5 miles south of Datça, 2.6 miles north of İnce Burun. It is a bay with a quite wide entrance. There is a stream inside the bay.
The bottom structure is vermicelli and sand. Depending on the wind conditions, there are many places to shelter. You can anchor either stern-to or at anchor. The sea is very clean, the entire coast is a beach from end to end.
There are very nice and diverse restaurants on the shore. These facilities also have small piers.
Due to the short asphalt road to Datça, especially on holidays, it is a bay frequented by day trippers. The beach becomes crowded on holidays.
The bay is located on the excellent diving spots of the Datça region. The bottom structure, colors, and view are indescribably beautiful.
